National Certificate Professional Driver

Learnerships:

A Learnership is a qualification run over a pariod of 12 months that combines theoretical and practical training. Learnerships involve theoretical classroom training, conducted by an accredited provider , and then on-the-job training hosted by an employer.
Pro Drivers
Learnerships are life long integrated learning programmes, which allows learners to gain a national qualifcation registered on the Natrional Qualifications Framework. They allow organisations to take unemployed individuals off the street and provide them with an opportunity to become skilled in certain areas as well as offer opportunities for employed individuals to become skilled or developed in certain fields of expertise.

Goverment discretionary grants can be applied for in order to place learners on learnerships for which organisations receice tax rebates for partaking in such projects.

- National Certificate in Professional Driving - NQF3

The fundamental and Core unit standards are compulsory, the test of the credits are selected from the electives to complete the 120 minimun credits for the qualifcations.
